Bogotá will host the 40th edition of the International Leather Goods Fair
The countries capital will dress leather during the 40th edition of the international Fair of Leather Goods, Footwear, Supplies and Technology (IFLS + EICI), in which the best fashion exponents of seven countries will present their products from August 13 to 15.
Fashion lovers that are fond of shoes, handbags, clothing, textiles, children products and a variety of synthetic materials will find them in the Business Center of Bogotá (Corferias).
Attendees may participate in work networks and conferences aimed at promoting the use of these materials.
The event will be divided in two parts: The International Footwear & Leather Show (IFLS), which is the Colombian business platform with the biggest footwear experience; and the Specialized Leather Exhibition (EICI), which highlights the latest creations in this fashion season.
The business project also seeks to present the latest trends in design and fashion regarding the leather goods sector with the main industry collections based in Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Peru, Italy and Mexico.
For this year’s edition, the organizers will allocate 16.000 meters for the 460 exhibitors that will arrive in the Colombian capital, including manufacturers, designers and boutiques.
It is expected that more than 11.000 visitors will be able to access the products and services of more than 2.000 brands.
This space was born nine years ago when businesses of this branch in fashion began to grow and spaces were needed to strengthen the Colombian leather industry to continue consolidating this sector. This has always been a place for national and international footwear and leather manufacturers.
