PatPrimo celebrates twice in Costa Rica with two simultaneous openings

PatPrimo lands in the Costa Rican market with two simultaneous openings in Curridabat and Escazú shopping centers, both located in the city of San José. The new stores provide fashion for male and female audience.

“The traditional PatPrimo consumer does not look for risks or complications, it is elegant, actual and independent. He is interested in quality and maintaining an updated style without losing the classic concept of traditional values, family atmosphere and impeccability. Their buying habits focus on the search of experiences, promotions and values” said Sophie Douer, general manager of the brand.

Since the beginning of this year, Douer has announced the expansion of her brand to regional markets, as well as an expansion of its presence in Ecuador. The firm plans to continue its international expansion with an eye on Peru and other destinations in South America,  while strengthening its existing plazas in Panama, Ecuador and now Costa Rica.

PatPrimo has more than 200 stores and sale points in Colombia, it also has its own stores and presence in most of the country. The firm recently launched its online store in the Colombian market and in a few months,  it has become one of its most important stores, with the highest turnover.

Founded in 1957, the brand has remained a family business for more than half a century; it’s part of Elliot Manufactures group, one of the largest textile conglomerates in Colombia. The group closed in 2018 with a turnover of 690.778 million pesos (about 223 million dollars) according to information from the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce of Colombia (SIC).
