The eighth edition concludes with record-breaking results

The eighth edition of Bogotá Fashion Week (BFW)—a strategic program led by the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (CCB) to promote and expand the fashion sector—successfully concluded on may 22 with outstanding results, reaffirming its role as a key platform for business development, brand visibility and internationalization of both emerging and established Colombian brands and designers.

Over the course of three days, more than 31,000 attendees gathered at Ágora Bogotá – Convention Center to engage with a comprehensive agenda that included runway shows, business meetings, panel discussions, and collaborative initiatives. Digital broadcasts surpassed 20,000 views, confirming the event’s global reach.

With the participation of 140 Colombian brands and 80 buyers from 22 countries, BFW generated more than USD 4 million in immediate business opportunities, with projections exceeding USD 10 million over the next 12 months*. More than 1,000 wholesale business meetings demonstrated the strong alignment between Colombia’s creative offer and international market demand.

The Multibrand Store, a direct-to-consumer retail space, was solidified as a key showcase for Colombian design, achieving retail sales of over COP 200 million**, a testament to the commercial strength of the collections on display.

This edition also featured the third installment of [P U E N T E], a CCB initiative designed to strengthen the integration of the fashion ecosystem with the popular economy. Eleven entrepreneurs from the San Victorino and Restrepo districts presented Tintico Veci, a Fall/Winter collection that will go beyond borders, having been selected to participate in the upcoming editions of New York Fashion Week and Madrid’s MOMAD fashion fair.

With this edition, Bogotá Fashion Week reaffirms its commitment to the sustainable, inclusive, and competitive development of the fashion industry in the Bogotá region, positioning the city as a leading creative hub in Latin America.
