Faoba Joyas

Faoba is a Colombian jewelry brand created by graphic designer Adriana Salazar and her sister photographer and illustrator Julieta Uribe. Adriana studied jewelry and textile jewelry in Argentina, and specialized in jewelry illustration in Chile. Julieta studied 3D jewelry in Bogotá and jewelry design in Italy. Their passion and love for jewelry were transmitted to them by her mother, who is a jeweler and lover of Colombian emeralds. Adriana and Julieta grew up with their siblings in their mother's jewelry studio surrounded by precious metals and gems. Currently, Faoba has more than 15 years of experience and owns its jewelry studio in the center of Bogotá. There they give free rein to creativity, by developing collections inspired by the Muisca indigenous culture and by telling myths and legends that transport us to the magical world of their ancestors. In the Faoba collections you can find pieces designed for contemporary women having an exquisite taste for timeless and versatile pieces that can be combined with each other and thus contribute to conscious consumption.
