Fiona Ferrer presented her own brand "FFL", an initiative inspired by Bogotá Fashion Week

Fiona Ferrer Leoni, Spanish fashion consultant and coach fashion of the English Court, presented the last Wednesday her brand "FFL" in the thematic of Bogota Fashion Week, circulation platform, business contact and business strengthening of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá .

FFL emerges as an example of entrepreneurship that was inspired by the Bogota Fashion Week, the fashion expert has participated in each one of the three editions of the platform. The love and talent for Colombian design led the fashion expert to create her brand, a collection inspired and manufactured by Colombian artisans, using the best quality fabrics and exclusive materials.

Fiona Ferrer is responsible for the design and supervision of each one of the pieces of the collection that was presented for the first time at the Bogota Fashion Week 2019.

She assured that chose Colombia for the opening of her brand, "for years I have been linked by a great bond with Colombia and now, thanks to my professional relationship with the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, it has become more entrenched. It's a country that I admire and as a professional and fashion expert I'm betting on Colombia. "

The opening took place in behalf of the knowledge band - Conversación BFW Tejiendo Futuro, where she also led the talk "How to transform an idea into a business project".

This venture arises, due to Fiona's relationship with the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, as a fashion consultant since 2017, as well as her respect and admiration for Colombian craftsmanship and talent. FFL has the collaboration of 120 artisans who are part of this collection, by which respect for craftsmanship and the work of artisans are reflected in a unique and special piece. The innovation in this design has given rise to the fact that, as part of this project within the factory, a school of workshops is being carried out to learn and improve this technique.

Fiona Ferrer is also the exclusive distributor of some Colombian brands in Europe such as Flor Amazona, Alvaro Avila, La Pepa, Lina Hernandez, Fernanda Arias, Metalero and Edén with whom she will be doing a pop-up in June.

In addition, she acts and supports, as exclusive distributor in Europe, some of the Colombian companies that participate in this edition of the BFW as Flor Amazona, Divina Chastity, Álvaro Ávila, La P.Pa Design, Lina Hernández, Fernanda Arias, Metalero and Eden Jewelry.

Fiona Ferrer affirmed that "I hope that through FFL people can get to know the wonder of the Colombian raw material in Europe".

The FFL Collection

The collection is divided into three parts, by which for each one of the years it has collaborated with the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá and Bogotá Fashion Week.

Bags, shawls and earrings in natural silk, dyed by hand, with bright and impacting colors, use the technique of macramé and a completely handmade process in which each piece is made individually and represents a story.

COLLECTION BLAZERS FALL / W19

Limited Edition of 42 blazers, as a seasonal advance. Made by hand under the handicraft technique of the loom and created in an old family factory located on the outskirts of Bogotá, where the respect for the fabrics is evident. The fabrics and colors used for FFL, have been designed exclusively for the firm.

FOOTWEAR COLLECTION F / W19

Using as a base the handmade textiles of the Wayuu ethnic group, fused with the manufacture of the artisans of Valverde del Camino (Huelva - Andalusia), Fiona has created a limited collection of boots, boots, slippers and mules.
