Colombian fashion arrives at El Corte Inglés in Madrid

A selection of Colombian fashion and accessories brand will arrive to the El Corte Inglés facilities in La Castellana, from the 3rd to the 16th of June in Madrid. They will count with a pop-up store that was created in the framework of the “Bogotá marcando estilo” initiative, which was born in the Bogotá Fashion Week with the help of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (CCB).

This commercial proposal seeks to promote Colombian designs in the most luxurious address that El Corte Inglés has in the Spanish capital and to strengthen the arrival of new local brands in the Iberian market. The Colombian firms that will be presented at the event are Flor Amazona , Rinkel, Margarita Diaz del Castillo, Palha, Divina Castidad , Lina Hernández , Edén Jewelry , Fernadna Arias , Metalero , Camila Mesar, La P-pa and Isaili to name a few of them.

In the ephemeral store you’ll be able to see handmade garments with manual supplies, Colombian accessories made with threads and precious metals performed with ancestral techniques.

In the pop up store the official launch of Fiona Ferrer’s new brand FFL will be done, that’s inspired in Colombian handcrafts. This Colombian-Spanish brand was launched at the Bogotá Fashion Week with accessories and clothing made in Bogotá.

For almost a decade now, Madrid has become a gateway for Colombian and Latin designers to enter Europe. Fashion houses like Silvia Tcherassi’s have already opened their own stores in the country, while others like Totto, Leonisa, OndaDeMar, Maaji, Lauval, Pink Filosofy and Juan de Dios are arriving to Spanish territory through multi-brand channels.
